Limestone Branch Distillery Master Distiller Stephen Beam recently announced the upcoming release of 2022 Yellowstone Limited Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Featuring a delicately balanced blend of 7-year, 15-year and 16-year aged bourbons hand-selected by Beam and aged in Marsala Superiore casks, the latest expression of Yellowstone Limited Edition will begin to be available in September with a suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750ml bottle.

Since 2015, Beam has produced a unique, limited-edition bourbon annually under the Yellowstone brand, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2022, along with its namesake national park. For this year’s Yellowstone Limited Edition, Beam selected Marsala Superiore casks to finish select barrels of 7-year-old-bourbon to provide unique tasting notes to complement the extra-aged bourbons comprising this year’s Limited Edition.

Marsala Superiore is a dry, sweet wine produced near the Italian city of Marsala in Sicily and aged at least two years. A fortified wine similar to Sherry, Marsala imparts tangy flavors of dried fruit and citrus and is often used in cooking or served as a dessert wine.

The 2022 Yellowstone Limited Edition Is bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV) and sold in custom-designed bottles featuring embossing, a high-end natural cork and a label featuring the 2022 Yellowstone Limited Edition emblem. Beginning in September, the full allocation of 10,000 cases (3 bottles per case) will be available at retail locations nationwide.

SONIC Hard Beverages rolling out new offerings this fall

Innovations continue to roll out for the SONIC Hard Beverages product line via the introduction of two new offerings to enjoy throughout the fall season and beyond. COOP Ale Works recently announced the SONIC Hard Southern Sweet Tea and SONIC Hard Slush to hit retail stores in September. Following the success of the SONIC Hard Seltzer lineup, SONIC Hard Southern Sweet Tea and SONIC Hard Slush will be available for consumers to get their hands on at select retail stores in at least 38 states.

Inspired by its signature iced tea, SONIC Hard Southern Sweet Tea offers a delicate and exhilarating taste of tea with a hint of lemon that will make hard-tea enthusiasts take notice. At an ABV of 5%, SONIC Hard Southern Sweet Tea will be available in 12 oz. slim can 12-packs and 24 oz. cans beginning Fall 2022 at select retailers in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

In addition to SONIC Hard Southern Sweet Tea, SONIC Hard Slush will make a splash into the frozen adult beverage category with its take on three iconic ready-to-drink frozen pouch flavors inspired by SONIC drinks. With a 6% ABV, and offering iconic SONIC Slush flavors like Cherry Limeade, Blue Raspberry and Watermelon, SONIC Hard Slush will be available in select retailers across the following states starting Fall 2022: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia. The remainder of the country can expect to see SONIC Hard Slush on their local shelves in March 2023.

Skrewball Whiskey introduces 100ml can

Skrewball Whiskey, the original peanut butter whiskey, recently announced the introduction of a 100ml can to its product lineup, which includes 750ml, 375ml, 200ml, 50ml and 1L glass bottles. Unlike RTD canned cocktails, this convenient and fun option offers two servings of the sweet and savory flavored whiskey with no mixers, perfect for sipping straight.

Skrewball Whiskey’s 100ml can is 70 proof (35% ABV). The canned spirit will be available in select markets across California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Wisconsin and Tennessee, with additional nationwide availability rolling out throughout the coming summer months.
